Die Sub-Kommission Funds arbeitet an der Erweiterung der bestehenden ISO 20022 Investmentfonds-Meldungen um Hedgefonds-Funktionen und arbeitet in der SMPG Working Group "Investment Funds"mit.
In der Schweiz sind Experten der Kommission mit der Swiss Funds and Asset Managers Association (SFAMA) und europaweit mit der European Funds and Asset Managers Associaton (EFAMA) vernetzt.
Einmal pro Jahr führt die Sub-K Funds zudem eine Konferenz mit aktuellen Themen durch.

- SCFS provided in 2011/12 a SCFS Funds MT-MX Migration Roadmap for the Swiss financial market.
- SCFS was directly involved in the Swiss SWIFT Funds MT-MX Roadshow in 2012 and in several SWIFT Events named Swiss Forum for Financial Standards over the last years explaining the impacts on Swiss market participants and the support provided by SCFS.
- SCFS working groups agreed on a Swiss Investment Funds Market Practice for the use of the MX messages in the Swiss financial market which is based on the SMPG market practice and was published in early 2013.
- At the same time SCFS provided a Market Practice Tooling Environments for the adoption of the Swiss market parctice by the impacted SWIFT user community.
- SCFS provided technical best practice recommendations for the use of distinguished names (DN) in the SWIFT Interact Messaging Service.
